On-Demand Cooking Class
Cook once and put five homemade Chicken Marinara Pasta meals in your freezer — or use the same ingredients and techniques to serve it as a family meal tonight.
In this class, you'll cook diced chicken, tomatoes, garlic and fresh herbs together while using herb-infused pasta water and the noaddedsaltguy Pan Rule to build flavor throughout the meal.
I'll show you how to prepare the meal for the freezer by portioning the pasta and Chicken Marinara into five individual meals. But you'll also learn how I change the technique when I'm serving it family-style: instead of portioning the pasta separately, I add it directly to the Chicken Marinara and finish everything together, allowing the pasta to become coated and absorb more of the flavor.
The ingredients don't have to change. The technique changes because the purpose of the meal changes.
You'll learn more than how to make Chicken Marinara Pasta. I'll show you how ingredients can work together to build flavor, why I keep using the same pan instead of washing away what's already there, and how one basic meal can work differently depending on whether you're cooking for tonight or preparing meals for later.
Use the canned tomatoes you prefer — diced, crushed or another style — and adjust the herbs, garlic and pepper to make the meal your own. Finish with freshly grated Parmesan, Asiago, Romano or your favorite blend to add flavor where it has an impact.
Take this class on its own, or as part of One Family Pack of Chicken: A 4-Part Cooking System. Everything you need to prepare the chicken and make the meal is included when you take it as a standalone class.
This isn't just another recipe. You'll learn how to turn the same ingredients into freezer-ready meals or a family-style dinner — and why the way you're serving the meal can change the way you cook it.
